12/07 Here it comes.. the snow that is -

And about that box he brought...

I opened that box and put the contents into
a gallon pale to warm-up a bit -

This little guy is right at 3" SCL..
about as mirror image as you can get..
a beautiful Southern Spotted turtle!
He is presently in the 20L the girls were in.

We are almost sure he is a male for the girls
but not 100% positive(?)!

His beak is begining to darken..
[ the pink nose is from 'shipping stress' ]

And what a look -

And his plastron is starting to become concave also -

Once again.. time will tell!
